Elizabeth Range In Motion Instructor

Evolved from concepts and techniques developed by Joseph H. Pilates more than eighty years ago. Restoring awareness between the body and mind creates balance, ease of breath, stabilization and body tone. The attention is on posture, alignment and internal stabilization to dramatically improve flexibility and coordination. This therapeutic movement method is widely accepted for pain reduction and neuro-muscular rehabilitation. Also an excellent tool for sports injury prevention and training. Pilates can be done on a mat or on specialized equipment. Private sessions are now available on the Pilates reformer equipment.

About PILATES MAT
Start with the Pilates principles and vocabulary. Learn the essential concepts with awareness, release, breath and movement, postural alignments and stabilization.
Challenges are progressively added to these important basics to create a solid relationship with this work and a long, lean strong body and calm mind.
